Golem
It is Prague, 1584. In the dark attic of the Synagogue, Rabbi Loew walks nervously. Piles of books on a desk, gold melting in the cauldron, and a mass of clay shaped into human form. “Now the last step,” exclaims the Rabbi, “because only with a true word will you come to life!” As the word “Truth” is engraved on the clay giant’s forehead and the word “God” is put into its mouth, a great silence descends upon the room. The eyes open, illuminated by a sinister light, and stare at the Rabbi’s gaze, waiting for its first order.
Zapotec
The Zapotec were a pre-Columbian civilization that flourished in the Valley of Oaxaca in Mesoamerica. Build temples, cornfields and villages in the three valleys surrounding the capital Monte Albán to generate resources needed for building pyramids, making sacrifices to the gods, and performing rituals.
Renaissance Man
In Renaissance Man, each player is an example of the title character – skilled as a scholar, a merchant, a knight, and a baker. Throughout the game they will hire, recruit, and train others with the goal of producing a Master of one of these four areas of study. Each round consists of players creating actions by combining a worker in play with a card from hand.
