The Warring States period was a pivotal era in Chinese history, marked by constant warfare, significant bureaucratic and military reforms, and the consolidation of power among rival states.
The game is set around 260 BCE, a time when the seven warring kingdoms Yan, Zhao, Han, Wei, Qi, Chu, and Qin - were locked in fierce conflict, both against each other as well as against nomadic groups like the Xiongnu, who posed a threat from the north.

In Pergola, players develop their gardens, grow new plants, and attract insects and small animals. On their turn, a player chooses one of the four available tools, picks the presented items, and arranges them in their garden. Then they perform the action corresponding to the chosen tool. Since players have a lot of freedom in arranging plants in their gardens, after fifteen rounds each garden looks completely different and scores differently. The player who accumulates the most points wins.

Garden Rush is a two-player, tile-placement battle game in a vegetable garden in which players race to grow vegetables in their garden and fill their basket before their neighbor. In Terraforming Mars, you play one of those corporations and work together in the terraforming process, but compete for getting victory points that are awarded not only for your contribution to the terraforming, but also for advancing human infrastructure throughout the solar system, and doing other commendable things.

Players choose a robot and direct its moves by playing cards. Chaos ensues as all players reveal the cards they\'ve chosen.
