Paris: La Cité de la Lumière is a two-player board game, designed by José Antonio Abascal, infused with Parisian aesthetics by the artist, Oriol Hernández. The game is set in late 19th century Paris during the 1889 “Exposition Universelle”, when public electricity was a hot topic. Electricity spread throughout the city, creating today’s beautiful nocturnal Parisian streets and coining Paris’s nickname “La Cité de la Lumiére”, the City of Lights. The most well-lit buildings are admired highly by passers-by.

The King is dead. The kingdom is divided. Three factions - the Scottish, the Welsh, and the English - vie for control and, across the sea, foreign invaders prepare to take advantage of the chaos. Players must marshal their limited resources to influence this power struggle, while ensuring that the faction that rises to dominate the realm favours them above all other claimants to the throne.
Scholars of the South Tigris
Scholars of the South Tigris is set during the height of the Abbasid Caliphate, circa 830 AD. The Caliph has called upon the keenest minds to acquire scientific manuscripts from all over the known world. Players will need to increase their influence in the House of Wisdom, and hire skilled linguists to translate the foreign scrolls into Arabic. In this Golden Age of wisdom and knowledge, be mindful not to neglect one in pursuit of the other.
