Race for the Galaxy: Alien Artifacts, is the fourth expansion for Race for the Galaxy, is incompatible with earlier expansions for that game, instead taking the game in a new direction. Race for the Galaxy: Alien Artifacts consists of two parts:
46 new cards including 5 new start worlds to add to the base set, plus a set of action cards and start hand for a fifth player. These can be used without the orb cards.

Those structures which endure the grinding sands of time reach forward into the future, achieving greatness in the name of their king even as all else is forgotten.
Landmarks - Villages of Valeria
Unable to decide on the location of the new capital, the King of Valeria sends out his messengers with another decree: the village to be named New Shilina must also have wondrous landmarks to distinguish it from the rest. As a Duke or Duchess vying for the prestigious prize, new adventurers await your call, new plans for buildings have been drawn up, and landmarks are ready to be constructed within the village surrounding your castle.

As a more pacific time in the Kingdom of Valeria passes, tradesmen and merchants, warriors and mages, even rogues and brigands gain a foothold in their social niches. This expansion pack introduces the special building type - Guild Halls - to Villages of Valeria.
