Paris: La Cité de la Lumière
Paris: La Cité de la Lumière is a two-player board game, designed by José Antonio Abascal, infused with Parisian aesthetics by the artist, Oriol Hernández. The game is set in late 19th century Paris during the 1889 “Exposition Universelle”, when public electricity was a hot topic. Electricity spread throughout the city, creating today’s beautiful nocturnal Parisian streets and coining Paris’s nickname “La Cité de la Lumiére”, the City of Lights. The most well-lit buildings are admired highly by passers-by.
Civolution
Hello, student beings! The cosmic faculty of the Technical Academy of Creation is delighted to welcome you to your Civolution, the final exam in Civilization Design!
For this occasion, we prepared a humanoid scenario on an isolated continent. Here, each of you holds the rank of a local deity which is closely linked to its very own civilization and must lead it to success over the other civilizations. Your developmental possibilities are endless and reach from cultural and technical progress to evolutional adaptations. For example, what would you consider more beneficial to your tribes: inventing the wheel or growing wings? Demonstrate your ability to operate your civilization console and show us how well you can adjust to changeable environmental conditions and mild creational chaos.
Dragonkeepers
In this fantasy universe, each player is the chief of a tribe of dragon keepers, defending the dragons from attacks by the evil hunter. The hunter wants to see those cute dragons dead, but must get past the dragon keepers.
Paris: Eiffel
The tower built by architect Gustave Eiffel rises high above Paris, announcing the inauguration of the Universal Exposition. There are those who define it as a monstrous iron cyclops and others as the first step into modern architecture. There is no doubt it will leave very few indifferent.
Targi: The Expansion
In this expansion, the original gameplay is both expanded and improved with new tribe cards, border cards, sand dune cards, water tokens, and a special Targia pawn — all of which combine to make a great game even better.
The Taverns of Tiefenthal
In the village of Tiefenthal, you take the role of tavern host to attract new and wealthy guests.
Which tavern expansion is best? Do you need more tables? A larger beer warehouse? Skilfully choose the dice to develop your personal deck and become as profitable as possible!
Targi
Unlike in other cultures, the desert Tuareg men, known as Targi, cover their faces whereas women of the tribe do not wear veils. They run the household and they have the last word at home in the tents. Different families are divided into tribes, headed by the ‘Imascheren’ (or nobles). As leader of a Tuareg tribe, players trade goods from near (such as dates and salt) and far (like pepper), in order to obtain gold and other benefits, and enlarge their family. In each round their new offerings are made. Cards are a means to an end, in order to obtain the popular tribe cards.
Doppelt so Clever
Next in the series is Doppelt so Clever! With five new dice-marking challenges and a new action beyond the re-roll and “use one more die” actions of the earlier game, you really have to be twice as clever to score big!
Ganz Schön Clever
Choose your dice well in Ganz Schön Clever to rack up the points! The dice you don’t use are just as important as what you do because every die that’s smaller than the chosen one can be used by the other players. Keep an eye on the foxes to score big!
