Wise Guys
Flappers dance the Charleston at fabulous parties fueled by the booze your gang distributes. Schmooze with the politicians as you fund their election campaigns and let the voters know which way to vote, if they know what’s good for them. With enough clout at City Hall, there’s nothing to fear from the law — you can sell booze on the streets and literally get away with murder. In Wise Guys, players control rival gangs, competing to be the most successful ‘alky runners’ in Chicago during the Prohibition.
Golem
It is Prague, 1584. In the dark attic of the Synagogue, Rabbi Loew walks nervously. Piles of books on a desk, gold melting in the cauldron, and a mass of clay shaped into human form. “Now the last step,” exclaims the Rabbi, “because only with a true word will you come to life!” As the word “Truth” is engraved on the clay giant’s forehead and the word “God” is put into its mouth, a great silence descends upon the room. The eyes open, illuminated by a sinister light, and stare at the Rabbi’s gaze, waiting for its first order.
Vivid Memories
A Game of Collecting and Connecting Memories. Every stick is a sword. Every bike is a steed. Every memory is a possibility.
Temporum
In some of the best versions of reality, the Egyptians discover America, the industrial revolution happens early, and robots take over. In others, the Renaissance produces a plutocracy which leads to a utopia(or perhaps to anarchy). It’s all in the subtle details.
Renaissance Man
In Renaissance Man, each player is an example of the title character – skilled as a scholar, a merchant, a knight, and a baker. Throughout the game they will hire, recruit, and train others with the goal of producing a Master of one of these four areas of study. Each round consists of players creating actions by combining a worker in play with a card from hand.
Unexpected Treasures
In Unexpected Treasures, players set out on a mission to collect old furniture from a bulky waste collection site and to turn a profit by selling their recovered goods to paying customers. It’s first come, first served, but players are only able to take a few items home at a time. And they have to be wary of thieves, who are out on the prowl just waiting to steal the collected goods from the players’ homes.
The Heavens of Olympus
Zeus, the greatest of the gods, has decided that he wants to construct a universe to gaze upon from high atop Mount Olympus. He has enlisted the help of several unknown gods to do this for him.
Guild Master
Trouble is on the rise. And for adventuring guilds this spells opportunity.
Big City: 20th Anniversary Jumbo Edition
The original city-building game Big City returns to print in a 20th Anniversary Jumbo Edition with buildings 33% larger than the original game and revised property trading rules.
In Big City, players acquire cards in eight different neighborhoods, then use them to lay out buildings either one, two, or three spaces large. The points they receive for a given building is a base score, plus bonuses for the buildings surrounding it. Someone must play city hall (scoring no points for themselves) in order for anyone to start placing any structure beyond the simple residences and business.
