Jaipur Poster

Poster Size: A3 (420x297mm, 16.5x11.7in). 

Based on the board game Jaipur and influenced by the style of vintage travel posters, this board game poster is the ideal addition to your game room wall.

Jaipur, (also referred to as the Pink City, somewhat forcing our hand regarding the colour palette of our design) by designer Sébastien Pauchon, has lent its name to maybe one of the most approachable and easy to learn two player games most in the hobby have ever played. A straightforward read from what is essentially a jumped up pamphlet of a rulebook, plop down some camels (though if you have the first edition of this game, you know which special camel has to start in the middle) a quick shuffle of the cards and that's it.

High quality components, deep and rich gameplay with a touch of luck thrown in to mitigate any dominant strategies, and a play time that wouldn't take up all of a lunch break. This should be a part of all board gaming twosomes collections.

On a personal level, this game stands out for us. It was maybe the first board game we played together, and after the requisite awkward getting to know each other dating activities were out of the way (cinema/ restaurants/ situations where you might have to come across as charming or otherwise competent and interesting, so very stressful…) Jaipur allowed us to settle into a more comfortable level of relaxation while spending time with each other. Just chatting, a non-brain burning but exciting distraction, and learning about the board game in front of us as we learned about one another.

So thusly we have bestowed upon it the highest honour imaginable, being the thirteenth or fourteenth (something around there) board game poster we have designed and released.
